Vulnerability Overview

Lack of CSRF checks in the ActiveCampaign WordPress plugin, versions before 8.0.2, on its Settings form, which could allow attacker to make a logged-in administrator change API Credentials to attacker's account.

Technical Analysis

REMEDIATION: Update to version 8.0.2, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-352 (Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)) The web application does not, or cannot, sufficiently verify whether a request was intentionally provided by the user who sent the request, which could have originated from an unauthorized actor.
