Vulnerability Overview

Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in WordPress before 3.5.1 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via vectors involving (1) gallery shortcodes or (2) the content of a post.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 3.5.1, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
