Vulnerability Overview

Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in WordPress 2.0.9 and earlier allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the popuptitle parameter to (1) wp-admin/post.php or (2) wp-admin/page-new.php.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 2.0.10, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
